We got a rooster by accident (from supposedly sexed chicks). He is 18 weeks old, and starting to crow. We can't keep him in our urban area. He was fed regular chick feed, until one month ago we switched to organic. He is fairly well behaved, herds our hens around, and has only pecked me one time on the hand when I was feeding him. He is trying to mate with the hens, but I haven't seen any success for him yet! We like to travel, so I can deliver him within Northern CA or Bay Area. I might be willing to ship him, depending on your location. I really don't know how to do that, though.
