Total new for me - grew up in the city! just bought a farm and now 15 white rocks and 15 buffs in my celler with the lamps on ....

welcome! We are new to chickens this past spring and we love them too! Our silkies keep going broody and we have hatched a couple dozen chicks. It has been such a great experience for our girls and me too! It is so worth the added chores to see my girls swinging on the swings holding their chicks and chickens! Loved your u-tube pix, thanks for sharing!

I'm a city kid too - but my grandparents had a farm that I had lots of good times on. No farm for me - just the 4 hens in the city.
