I wondered if the wisdom of BYC could help me identify these two little chicks. They hatched from my mixed flock (in sig). Father is paint Silkie. Chick 1 is friendly and chilled, has 5 clean toes. Chick 2 is noisy, frantic when separated from mum, and super fast, with 4 toes and feathered feet. My money is on chick 1 being half polish (the crest and the round eyes), and chick 2 I thought half cochin but now it is showing some brown and my cochin is black/white speckled, so I'm thinking more like my other Polish, the gold laced frizzle. Let me know your guesses (plus any sexing ideas). TIA

I will post pics next.

Those 2 darker ones of yours are going to be stunning. Can you tell anything from their stance yet? Seramas have a distinctive posture.

chick 2 has the start of leg feathering. It isnt entirely clear here but she has some just beginning to sprout from her toes too.View attachment 2279092
Cochins have even more foot feathering than Silkies. They should at least have the same or more as a Silkie. That makes me highly doubt any Cochin

Thanks no i dont really know much about bantum breeds to be honest i have 2 black rocks and 2 cheshire blues i brought at point of lay these were result of aunties chickens xx

Here are some more clearer pics ( cant believe how big they got in 2 days)
