First time raising any birds. I have no idea how it was injured as there is only a heater and waterer in with them (maybe it jumped off the top of the brooder heater?). It had splayed legs when hatched but did well after a day of splinting.

At this time, it is walking and running around (just limping). Eating and drinking normally. I have no intention on letting it suffer, but I wanted some experienced input.

Thanks for reading

I'd end it if it were mine.
There is no way to tell if it was born deformed or if you perhaps messed it up splinting it. I doubt it's leg will ever be 'normal' or straighten out.

Thank you both. Slight clarification. It was walking normally up until this morning and its leg didn't look like that before.

Have you tried treating the chick with some B complex vitamins 1/4 tablet per day given crushed in a little food or a spoonful of water? It looks more like a leg bone deformity called valgus deformity or a twisted tibia. Those can occur in one or both legs. Here is a good link with pictures:

No luck accessing that link. I can definitely start supplemental vitamins if that seems to be the consensus.

It works fine for me. Are you in the US? Could it possibly have become dislocated or a slipped tendon? Here is a video of fixing a slipped hock tendon on a pea chick:
Yes I'm in the US. I'll examine it and see if I can feel any tendon movement.
