1 week old with a deformed, sprained/broken leg?

Cheers all:
My chickies are 1 week old. I had one after 2days that had a gimpy leg that it could not stand on or tuck underneath its body (it stuck-out perpendicular to its body). So I culled it because it was starving to death(evidenced by its sunken belly and nothing left for egg sac). Well here we are and the other runt has a gimpy leg as well, but it can stand on it and use it sort of? Is this a deformity, sprained or broken limb? Can I do anything about it? thanks as always

Picture would be nice, but it sounds like slipped tendon or splayed leg.

Make sure your chicks are on a surface that they won't slip on. Newspaper is bad for them because they can't get a footing. This is one thing that will cause splayed leg. It can be corrected if its not too bad. There are several post around here with different remedies. Good Luck and keep their feet under them.
