Sadly, I need to find a new, loving home for my male Standard Poodle. With my health declining and work taking over, I find I don't have the time he deserves. He has papers that I haven't yet sent in, he is Red with a gorgeous coat that I currently have shaved down for the weather. He is a big goof, weighs about 55lbs. and still has a year-ish to grow. His parents were good sized poodles, Mom could stand on her hind legs and look my 6'1" Dh in the eye.
He is not neutered, still doesn't lift his leg, knows to sit, come, heel, settle down. He is housetrained, too. He really is a sweet boy, I just can't give him the time he deserves.
His adoption fee is negotiable to the right family. I ask that you have a fenced yard, a Vet reference, and lots of love and patience for the big old goober.
We have a 6 year old, 8 year old, and a 17 year old and he ADORES kids, I just don't want anyone trampled, so keep in mind that he is still a puppy. He loves other dogs and wants to be buddies with anyone who wanders into our yard, he loves the cats but loves to chase them, as well. He would make a wonderful hunting dog for you as he shows me good retrieval instincts.
