I have a 1 year old silkie hen that I got a little over a month ago. She has be intergrated into my flock for a while now and still she hasn't laid an egg. Any ideas?
I also have a rooster that I got at the same time, also silkie and same age, he doesn't seem to completely understand mating....is this normal? He is with a flock of red stars and pearl white leghorns, could size difference be playing a part in this? He is a little smaller than the hens.
