I was hoping for a little help identifying the new additions to our flock. We found a green egg the other day, so now I am even more curious because I didn't think any of these chickens were supposed to lay green eggs....

We have 5 new laying bantams + 2 new black polish silkie bantam crosses (that is what I was told anyway). The previous owners said the polish silkie bantam crosses should start laying anytime, so I am assuming they are not responsible for the green egg.

This picture shows the 5 bantams I am wondering about. They are the black and white in the front and the 3 browns (1 is hidden behind the black polish silkie crosses)

Another picture, chickens in question are on the left side

Close up of black/white bantam

We also recently added 2 Frizzles to the flock, but I have always heard they lay white or cream colored eggs? Could they be responsible for the mystery green egg?

The black/white birds are Sebrights.
The two frizzles are Cochin bantams.
I can't tell what the brown birds are, as the picture isn't close enough.

I don't know if crested cream legbars come in a bantam or not but the two brown hens with single combs and white ear lobes look like they might be that breed. Legbars lay blue to green eggs also

I have never heard of the crested cream legbar. I will look them up. I guess I was wrong all together, never guessed the brown could be laying the green egg!

I think they look like small cream crested legbars too, perhaps they are legbars crossed with something else smaller? They lay bluey green eggs.
