Guess it was educational but did they really have to THROW the poor CHICKS?! Common, these are babies, you can't just go around and toss them carelessly like that. That's probably why the rating of chicks recieved from big hatcheries companies like that, have lower survivor rating when recieved.

i just dont like to squeeze the chicks or what ever to get the poop out to see the vent. but the bones arnt hard or that formed or somethin.... idk. but i think i would wait. haha but i agree. they can sit the chicks down... it would slow down production. but they can get kind of messed up it there little brain gets damaged to much.. ya know?
