10/1/11-Chicken Swap Apopka, FL (ORLANDO Area)

I will try to make it. I will have cages and may have some 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 month old chicks (cockerels and pullets). I'm looking for a RIW cockerel and egg turners for any make and model styrofoam table top incubators.

I have a friend who wanted to buy some GLC of yours, she went with me to Nava's swap. I added you to the list tentatively. Would absolutely love to meet you. Lake Wales is just a little over an hour from my place and is a super easy drive. I'm a mile from the exit off of the freeway. Hope you decide to make it!!

I also have another friend who is attending this swap that is looking for a white bearded roo. I wasn't sure if you had any, but just in case, I thought I'd mention it.

That would be excellent. The cage I bought from you at Nava's is the best! I love how it easy it is to get into it and the red plastic liner works well with it. I'd love to get more in different sizes.
I will add you tentatively to the list as well.

I think I have convinced my DH!! So put him & I as tentative. Also depending on the chickens we have now, is more than one is a rooster we may be bringing them to swap or what not.

I have several eggs I am setting tonight so I will have day-old chicks available on the swap date along with the current babies!

Not to count my chicks before they hatch, but I set/am setting:

Mille fleur project cochins
seramas
EE's
OE's
white silkies
welsummers
bantam salmon faverolles!!! (maybe I will finally get some to hatch!!!)

OOO Lana is tempting me, with her Bantam Cochin and Serama chicks.

I'm pretty sure, we will be able to attend. I set a bunch of eggs yesterday, just so I would have some chicks available, to sell at the swap.
I should also have some month old LF GL Cochin chicks...so tell your friend that we should have be bringing some of those with us.

I'll have a complete list, of what we are bringing, a couple days before the swap.
I'm really looking forward to this swap...and trying to help you get the word out. I have posted this thread link, to quite a few poultry related sites.

We will be looking for bantam cochin hens/pullets, seramas, silkie hens/pullets, and a D'Uccle roo. Who knows what else. As we all know...you see chickens at swaps, that you just HAVE to HAVE!!

Yay, I'm so happy you are going to come!

I'll let my friend know that you will be bringing the GLC, she won't be able to attend, but I can pick them out for her

Lana has the cutest little Mottled D'Uccles. You should PM her to make sure she still has them. They are very sweet.

I have a Flyer for the swap, I can email it to you, it's a PDF. Thanks for passing the word on.

Also, my boys are mille fleur, not mottled!

I'd love some mottled d'uccles, though, they are just gorgeous!
