Hi! I have two chickens I suspect are roosters. I paid extra to sex them because my town does not allow roosters.

One is an Easter egger and does act dominate (ex: storming the fence when I let my dogs out).

The other is a black copper Maran I was convinced was a hen but now when I see it next to the other black copper Maran, I can see a more pronounced and red comb and waddle and prettier coloring.

I’ve included photos of the suspected hen, black copper Maran “rooster” and my Easter egger “rooster”.

Any help is appreciated! I wanted to be certain before I rehomed them.

The first one is pictured is a pullet. Picture 2, 3, and 4 show cockerels.

Two cockerels. The coloring on the EE is male-specific. The BCM looks like it’s slower developing than I would expect for that age though. Did you get a guarantee so you can get replacements?
