10 and growing

Howdy all! My wife and I have been tending to our flock of ten for about 2 years now and are soon growing to 14 or so with a rooster. We just got our little guy yesterday and are expecting 3 more pullets soon. Happy to be here!

We currently have 6 Rhode island reds, 2 buff orpingtons, 2 bantoms. The rooster we acquired from our Mennonite neighbors is a buff Orrington as well. He's only about a month old now. We have 3 more Red's coming from the nursery in a few weeks.

Welcome. I love roosters. I think they are so inquisitive of us and can be the best of friends. Mine are. I have two speckled sussex roosters, that were supposed to be pullets, but I am grateful for the mistake.
