10 day old chick with blood in stool

Feeding organic unmediated chick starter with electrolyte water. Picked up some Braggs ACV and some probiotic this morning and don't know which I should change the water out to. Thank you! 28 chicks in the brooder, so I don't know which one.

It sounds like it may be coccidiosis. I treat with Corid (cattle section in feed store) 9.6% liquid, 9.5 ml per gallon of water as sole drinking water for 5 days. I mix new solution daily and I treat all chicks who have been exposed to the poo of the sick one.

Bloody poo should be gone within 24 hours from my experience with Corid.

Not all strains are treated with Corid so it is important to see that improvement. Corid comes in powder with different dosage as well.

If you don't see improvement in 24 hours or so then I would be back on BYC trying to find out what to do next as it should work very quickly. Hopefully this solves it!
