My wife and I live in western NC. A lovely place with a mild climate and beautiful surroundings. We currently have 8 6 week old chickens, 2 dogs and one honeybee hive along side our 4 raised bed gardens.

What types of chickens do you have?
The bee hive sounds interesting. I'm not sure I'm ready for a bee hive yet . . . maybe one day.

They were 3 day old chicks bought from a local garden nursery. My guess is they are from Cackle Hatchery.
