10 + Project Lavender Orpington Hatching eggs

I have 8 + Project Lavender Orpington eggs to be shipped on Monday, May 3rd. Shipping is included in the auction price.

I currently have 2 lavender pullets and 1 black hen in this group. There is a possibility that you could end up with 2 or 3 blacks from this hatch, but those blacks would carry the lav. gene and then at that point you could breed back for a 50/50 chance of lavenders.

These lavenders are 2nd and 3rd generation directly from hinkjc's stock. I am currently working on the breed, thus my reason for my black hen being in there, but I do not have pullets old enough to add to the flock as of yet. Guess what I'll be working on hard this fall?!?!

I bought lav. orp eggs from gumpsgirl, and they are in the bator now. I am expecting new chicks next week! (yay!!)
I have to say ALL of her eggs are growing well so far, and they were all shipped eggs!

I received 2 'test' lavender orp eggs from gumpsgirl and BOTH hatched. They are gorgeous and growing beautifully. Wish I had enough incubator room for these beauties.

I do I do!! I can't afford them right now

not right now at least. My car is going in the shop for repairs-struts went bad? Thats my "girl" intuition...LOL that and Im saving for chickenstock May 23rd and DD and DH are going to Boston "whale watching" for her 5th grade class trip May 22nd! That 100$ would come in handy for her- so mom is NOT going to be selfish as much as I would love them! LOL...
