10% sevin dust should I return it?

I called the feed store for poultry dust and the guy said all they have is sevin and he uses it on his flock. So I send my brother to go pick it up and he comes back with 10%. From what I understand it should be 5% correct? I am thinking I should just return it and try to find a feed store that carries poultry dust. We have been in a serious drought and now it's poring rain so dusting them is going to have to wait anyway!

I use the Poultry dust with Permethrin. I have never used Sevin, so can't answer this one for you.

You could return it or cut it 50% with baking soda and use it that way.

I was wondering about that, like how to cut it in half and what to do it with. So baking soda will work?

sevin is carbaryl it attacks the nervous system and can be lethal google it on your computor I think the university of mich has good report.
