Hi! I know it's too soon to tell, but would you share your best guesses?
These are supposed to be Legbar, Olive egger and Araucana chicks between 10 and 14 days old.
Note that Araucana chickens in Italy don't usually have beard, muffs or tail, but they sometimes have tufts, I can't find info about different varieties that would explain why is that so, though.
I guess in pictures 2 and 3 we have, respectively, female Legbars and male Legbars, is that correct? The guy who was selling them told me that the darkest ones in picture 6 are Olive eggers, so my question is: which are OE and which Araucana in pictures 4 and 5 in your opinion? I know both Araucanas and OEs can have different colors, so maybe there's no way to guess... but maybe those small black spots on the pale yellow one suggest that's a mix (OE?)?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I think I have all figured out except for one!
They are about 3 weeks old now and they are supposed to be 4 Legbar (2 females and 2 males), which are easy to tell:

Then I should have 3 Olive eggers (Araucana x Marans), and I just noticed that 3 chicks have feathered legs, so I guess these must be the Olive eggers (the yellow one seems to have some muffs and pea comb, while the other 2 have single combs):

Lastly there should be 3 Araucana. These 2 could be Araucana, they have clean legs and pea combs:

The last one is the only one that puzzles me: (s)he has single comb, so he can't be an Araucana, maybe (s)he is another OE, I'm not sure, but time will tell :)

I think you have it right. I'm guessing the last chick is a male Legbar, because it has yellow legs and barring. But it could be an olive egger.

I agree that the last one is more than likely a male Legbar. Just started getting into Legbars though, so just a guess from the male Legbars I have seen so far.

Keep us posted as I have a post guessing if two of mine are truly Legbars or not.

Thank you, I hadn't considered it, but it definitely could be! His colors are quite different than the others though: they have darker back, while his back is lighter (you can see it in the group picture in my first post: he's the one in the left corner at the bottom) and also his head is like more copperish while the others are brownish? I can't really name these shades in English, ooops!:p

I'll keep this post updated and next time I'm going to take some pictures also from above!
Thank you all for your inputs!

FYI: I have been looking into this bc a friend of mine has 6 Araucana chicks and if she has more than 2 females she is happy to give them to me.

Thank you @BDutch: the Araucana I have (and had) are similar to the Dutch type, except I always choose chicks without tufts (in the same clutch you can have chicks with and without them), because I don't know about genetics but I know tuft genes can be lethal, so I prefer not try my hand with that!
I see online that British type is starting to spreading in Italy too now!
