The coloration look like a pullet, but with the size of those red comb and wattles at that age, I say cockerel.

Not a Barred Rock, but is a cockerel. Probably a Black Sex-link based on the dark single barring.

At ten weeks I would say that is a cockerel. Though the barring has me confused...

A barred rock male will be alot lighter due to a double dose of the barring gene.

Found a picture of one around the same age.

That makes sense. I have a 12 week old barred rock rooster that is lightly colored but I guess I didn't think about it.
