In the Brooder
I have a 10 week old crested creme legbar. We've had her since she was about 3 weeks. I am concerned because she hasn't gained any weight the past 3 weeks (we weigh them every Tuesday morning) My other breeds are growing 3-6 ounces a week. I know she is a smaller breed in general but is only 12 oz total. She is active. I see her eating and drinking all the time. Should I be concerned?
the other breeds are BCM, EE, Buff Orp and a Barred Rock. I know they are all much larger breeds than the CCL.
Our feeder is a grandpas treadle feeder so it never really runs out of food. The other hogging it isn't the issue. (We have a brick on it since the CCL doesn't weight enough tooperate it yet)
I see her eating often. My flock gets along very well. I am not OVERLY concerned. Will keep an eye on her. No growth in 3 weeks just makes me a little cautious. Any thoughts?
