10 week old chicks love my deck... Gotta get them off

Apparently my deck and furniture are perfect for sunning and roosting on. Husband (who is not particularly thrilled to have chicken s in the first place) wants them off due to poop. I gotta give him the deck since the coop took his horse shoe pit / bacci court. How do I get them off? They climb the stairs and peek in the window. One even jimmied the screen door and visited me in the kitchen. Can't block the stairs because the dog needs to go in and out. Help! Suggestions.

Now that we are letting them free range, we have fenced off the part of the yard that is ours and they have all the rest.
