Super interesting! Makes them tough to sex though because they can all have different comb types and theres not much to compare them to! I suspect they are half mottled houdan when looking at the adult pictures!They do look like pullets. Interesting looking mix.
Maybe houdan crossed with leghorn? Love all the new mixes being created.
I used to have a city limit of four chickens at my old place, but snuck six lol. Now that I live on 5 acres I bumped it up from 6 to 13!
I have a personal limit here though because I can’t free range due to daytime coyotes, hawks, roaming dogs, etc.
I can’t wait to see them as adults! They’re just so adorable! I have a thing for bearded and muffed birds (my faves being faverolles, D’uccles, and ameraucanas)!
Mixed breeds are so fun. I have been wanting a favaucana, a mix between two of my favorite breeds, ameraucana and faverolles! Lays sage eggs!
