Howdie,
So my gal Coho the Salmon Favorelle has a hernia on her stomach and the vet said she's ok until it rips open or she pecks at it (she's had it since the beginning). Today I noticed a scab on the hernia so I went to clean it and put ointment on it and realized she has a huge scab on her wing. It's where the feathers are still growing. Any thoughts on what this is? She just stands around, I am thinking bc the hernia may hurt her to lay down. I have now separated her from the flock (there has not been any evidence of fights). The first pic is of the scab and the other is just of her and how she just stands around all puffed up.
Thanks!
