10 week old pullet noticed 3 of them have been opeing their mouth wide don't know what to make of it are they too young to eat oyster shells?

Im having a rough time getting them back in the coop at night time.
Chickens are afraid to enter the dark coop, so installing a night light will help to overcome their fear until they get used to it.

And feeding them some scrambled eggs as a treat inside the coop will help to get them used to their bedtime snack inside, so they will be waiting for it in the coop after a few days already.

Please, post a picture of your set up.
How big is your coop and how much ventilation does it provide?

In my coops for instance, I have installed "summer doors", a wooden frame covered in hardware cloth to allow for better ventilation during the hot months.

I have ventilation, lights, heater, perches, screen windows and door and they get an egg every morning. They just love it more outside than inside.
