I got 3 chicks a little over 10 weeks ago as rescue babies. I KNOW the Black Easter Egger is a pullet and the Mixed Barred cockerel is a... well, cockerel!

It’s this Lavender (or maybe it’s Splash??) that has thrown me for a loop. No saddle feathers, a small comb, but for some reason I have a gut feeling it’s a boy!

Now for a picture Spam.

And a picture of it with the pullet and cockerel. The bird in question is in the back.

I am sort of guessing that your lavender Orpington it’s a pullet. I also have a lavender Orpington and I thought she was a male for the longest time, maybe because she had a large comb. She is 2 years old now, but she has spurs, lol!
