We have a nice 10 week old RIR rooster who I can no longer deny is a rooster! We got four chicks to be pets and egg-providers, and it is pretty clear now that "Lily" won't be laying any eggs! Since these birds were always intended to be pets our family (with three young children) has become quite attached to them so we would prefer "Lily" not to go to a home where he will be eaten. Any takers? Out of the four, he is our second favorite personality-wise, a really nice little chicken.
