10 week olds going out into their new coop soon...but it's cold!

Fred's Hens :

Austin, TX? Put them out. You could have put them out weeks ago, but that's water over the dam. They'll be just fine. They snuggle and keep each warm. There is no threat of smothering, as there is with week old chicks. If not now? When?

Yes....I could've put them out weeks ago if the coop was done then. We had some setbacks. Rain, broken down truck, couldn't get remaining supplies for building, etc. You know how it goes...life happens. Anyhoo...the end is in sight now! They'll be outdoors soon enough.

Ah yes. Often likened to jumping out of the plane and then assembling the parachute. Hey, there's plenty of time on the way to the ground, right?

You'd not be the first and won't likely be the last. Again, you'll do fine and they'll do fine.

they will do great...they are fully feathered, its hard to let the little ones go out, I did it earlier this summer...they are fine!
make sure the coop is draft free, they will love the big space!
