What type of comb is that? Is it a single comb because I still can't tell.

Okay, that'll help. Cause Faverolles are supposed to have single combs.

Black chest feathers = cockerel for SF. So you have a cockerel

I have a 16 week old cockerel. The Faverolle cocks are a very friendly bird when handled a lot when they are young. They also don’t crow much and are not overly aggressive. Mine crows when he hears my voice and runs at me when he sees me. He loves cuddles
If you still have him you should consider giving him a chance. I have never liked a roo until this guy.
