Hello form Pflugerville TX.

Two and a half months ago, we adopted a little chick from my daughter’s school. Our whole family loves it dearly, and it’s my daughter’s first pet. We raised him inside our home until he was 7 weeks old. He got used to watching TV,watching my husband play video games and hugging.

After 7 weeks, we set up a coop for him in our backyard, and he started living there. He’s very well-behaved and goes to sleep in the coop every night at 8:30 PM.

Unfortunately, he turned out to be a little rooster, and he crows during the day (never at night time). Recently, we received the email from the HOA saying that our neighbors complained about our little rooster and informing us that the HOA rules prohibit keeping chickens in our community. They asked us to remove the chicken in 12 days. This is very sad for us.

We are now looking for a real home for him! We hope to find someone who can take him in and give him the love and care he deserves.
