the edge of insanity
Ok, so another 10 more week until we might start getting eggs. The good news is that no one has started to crow yet, but I am not holding my breath that no one is going to. I just need some 'payback!'

Hope that works out!

We're at 10 weeks, too and waiting for a roo or two. We actually wouldn't mind one... I think? Ours are clucking more than they're peeping now as well. When do their combs and wattles really start to come in?

I have some 17 week olds where the leghorns are starting to get combs and waddles.. Nothing yet on the speckled sussex and my Ameraucanas are looking FABULOUS!

These Wheaten/Blue Wheaten hens are spectacular.... I hope they lay well!

I have twenty eight, 12 week olds. I noticed a bright red comb starting on two of them at eight weeks.. I was suspicious... At nine weeks, one of them started to crow.... This morning (12 weeks old) the second one started crowing.
