10 weeks time for outside coop by themselves with or withoutt heatlamp 40's at night 60's ouring day

I have 10 week old turkey poults was wondering if they could go outside in their own coop they are so noisy in house in cage and they are getting big wanted to know about temperatures to use a heat lamp or not we are 40's at night and 60's plus during day thanks

They can go out, and should not need a lamp.

It isn't about temperature, it's about what they are acclimated to. If your house is 80 degrees it will be a big drop for them. At 10 weeks they should be acclimated to 60 degrees. I can't imagine keeping turkeys in the house.

We got some turkey chicks and ducklings, all about 4 weeks old. After a couple of weeks in the house we were up at all hours with them. We added starter grain to their food and they started sleeping at night much better.
Yesterday we put them outside. 70's during the day, 40's to 50's at night, basic lamp (heat lamp died) and a huge bin (metal, oval) about 1/3 full of shavings and hay, a large bowl of food and large bowl of water seems to be working for them. I peeked out to see how they were doing this morning, around 5:00 a.m. and they are running around, eating & drinking and seem like they are fine. When the turkeys start getting bigger than the ducks they will be put into a much larger pen. We learned from last year that they need space or they start getting mean with each other. The ducks are a first for us (5 Khaki Campbells, 2 Mallards) and they are sooooooo cute! Can't wait to greet them this morning before going to work. It was so nice to sleep without being awakened! I am hoping they are happier too because their pen is so much bigger than the bin we had them in while in the house.
