I have posted these guys before, and now they are at 10 weeks. (Yes i know they are really Production Reds). One i am certain is a boy, but the other two still have me concerned, their tails are all long and arching (although they wouldn't pose with their tails for me, they were upset i was harrassing them lol). With my other chicks they were really showing by this age, so i just want to get some opinions before i begin my first cull.

1: Ol' Red (pullet?)

2: Squeaker (pullet?)

3. Little Foot (cockerel)

I agree, but I would still give Little Foot a couple more weeks, as his comb is very small for a young production red rooster's.

I think they're all pullets. don't stress yourself about little differences in tail feathers, etc. At this age it's pretty much all about the comb, and that's not near large enough to call cockerel.

An updated headshot of little foot, now 11 weeks. Not much change, so maybe it is a pullet!?

Poor guy was panting, it's been hovering around 100 degrees.
