100 Coturnix in the bator! hatch date 3/6!

I put 100 coturnix eggs in the bator yesterday morning! Biggest hatch yet!!!

They are all my own eggs collected over the last 5 days!

I guess its time to join the big boys!

I think I am getting addicted! The bator hasnt gone off since i got it! 1 chicken hatch and on my 3rd quail hatch!

Guess ill have to start selling hatching eggs!

ANYONE hatching around the same time!?

Yep thats how it starts.... before ya know it you'll be locking yourself in the bathroom and secretly ordering eggs

HAHAHAH i find myself already checking the bator every few minutes...and its only day 2....

I stay up late looking at eggs auctions! Its starting!!

Yes, hatching is very addicting. I keep telling myself that I'm not dragging out the bator yet. Good luck on your hatch.

Just started back up with 350 Coturnix eggs in the bator.... Waiting for 120 breeders to get into full laying mode..lol

I got 40 due to hatch 3/4/10.so far everything is going to plan,,except me,,wife said yesterday,an old settin hen can go to a brushpile,hatch off a bunchof chicks and act semi normal,a man puts eggs in an incubator and is a nervous wreck afterwards,anyone agree with that?

We put in 120 coturnix last Saturday, so we are a little bit ahead of you. It's time to test the cold weather fertility. We are not getting our expectations up to early, but we are hoping to get quite a few.

I process them for high end resturants and some for retail sale, Also sell some to hunters wishing to train their dogs. Unlike small caged quail I have a large flight pen and after they build up their flight muscles they seem to be able to fly quite far,far enough if one escapes I never find them. Wife makes pickled quail eggs and hope this summer I will have enough surplus to start selling eggs to a country market and a few asian crocery stores.
