I put 22 eggs in my bator (8 buffs, 7 lavs., and 7 Welsummers from my own flock) and hatched out 8 buffs, 3 lavs., 4 blacks (that's 100% on hinkjc's shipped eggs
), and 6 Welsummers!!! I lacked one of my own eggs from having a 100% hatch rate! I've never had a hatch go this well before and am just ecstatic about it, so I wanted to share!
Here's a group pic of the Lavender Orpingtons. They are so very cute!
Here's a group of the Black Orpintons from the split black/lavender eggs. Of course, they are adorable too, but are going to have to be sold. I'm running out of room here!
Here's a group pic of my 8 Buff Orpingstons! I absolutely love these babies! They are so sweet and fluffy!
This last group is a pic of my Welsummer babies, which will have to be sold too.
And last but not least, these last two pics are of the whole group of babies right after I put them in the brooder last night.
