105 degrees and 8 week old chicks still prefer staying in the coop?

All my pictures are on my phone and I am having a heck of a time getting them on my computer. Used to just plug in a usb cord and they would upload but now it keeps saying they may be stored in the clouds. Ive tried everything I know and nothing works. Best thing for me is I can text pictures and MAYBE e-mail one every once in awhile!! Sorry

I solved my "Where on this phone are my photos!" problem by creating a Discord server for photo dumps. I can access Discord on my desktop, my Chromebook, or my phone and get my pictures easily regardless of the device I'm using.

Well, here is my update ya'll asked for. I locked the birds out of the coop ALL day today and they did great. In the hottest part of the day 95* with heat index of 105* again they laid in the cool dirt for awhile but were up alot scratching, eating, and drinking!! Went out and opened the pop door at 7:45pm and by 8pm they were in their coop and on their roost ready for bed and I closed them up. In east Texas our summer nights can be 80* so now that they are getting grown and full feathers I'm wondering will they overheat in a coop at night? It is 8:30pm as I write this and it is still 85* outside. Their coop is 3 foot x 8foot and only 6 birds and are 8 week old white leghorns.

Chicks are just weird sometimes! I had a group of 5 Easter Egger chicks that I put in the "metal coop" brooder as soon as I got them. I opened the door and put wire mesh that the chicks could go through, but the adult chickens could not. The chicks could go in and out freely, but the big girls couldn't go in and steal their food! Well, I tell you I couldn't get them to come out at all. After doing this for almost 2 weeks I finally had to eliminate the wire mesh and let the grown chickens in to force them out during the day! This time I hatched chicks in the incubator, put them in the same coop at day 2. At 3 weeks they couldn't wait to get out! And they don't stay together like the easter eggers did/do. They take off alone at times and in different groups of two and three (there are 9). Chickens are all different for sure! As to the heat issue, that can be a big problem. It's been 100 to 107 degrees here and I did lose a hen. She couldn't take the heat. Because their coops are so warm I've been leaving the doors open all night, but that concerns me because of the possible predators that may get wind of them. I have fans in the coops and leave them on all night. So far, so good, but it is supposed to cool. When it cools to less than 80 degrees I'll be locking them in again. If it cools to 78 degrees or so I'd feel ok locking them in if I were you. Good Luck! :hugs
