105ish too hot for new chicks?

My new babies are being shipped tomorrow, and I'm getting their brooder set up. It's been between 105 and 110 here. Is that too hot to keep them outside? Even if they are in the shade and well ventilated?

The temp for chicks should start at 90 to 95 degrees and decrease the temp 5 degrees per week thereafter. Is the 105/110 temp in the shade or sun?
