108 degrees temperature outside when I collected eggs

I don't even know where to put this question...When I collected my eggs today, it was like 105- it had been 108. Central Texas. The flock seems to be fine and self-regulating their temperatures in the shade.
The eggs were really warm. Are they okay to eat? I guess I can float them to see when I am ready to eat them.
Grateful they are doing okay.

If you gather eggs every day the ones you got that were more warm than usual are ok.

I take eggs out from under broody butts every day. While not 108° they are still pretty warm. No issues with them.

If they are egg's that were only laid just today, they should be ok. I'm over here in AZ. where the temp was 116-F. yesterday, and 114-F. today. I collect my egg's daily though.

Float testing them right now is not going to tell you if they are good or not.


They should be just fine to eat, just collect your eggs often and refridgerate them asap.
