Oh I did lol. That’s how I came to the Buckeye conclusion. Was just curious what the OP’s looked like now. If it has any black in its feathers or not.

This is what she looks like now, shes the only one I have without a comb and she always looks mad as all heck lol

Did that one end up being a Buckeye? I’ve got a red girl with some random black feathers and a pea comb that I’m 95% certain is a Buckeye. I’d like to see a pic of one a little older to compare! Where did you get yours?

I got her from a smaller local farm store.

Haha she sure is gorgeous though. Definitely RBF I see a little black in her tail but not much. I’m thinking mine might be a mix! Does yours lay well?

That’s where I got mine too but I think they might get some of their chicks from Hoovers since it’s just a state over from us.

Omg I guess I get those combs mixed up. And I thought Cinnamon Queens had single combs but I knew Buckeyes didn’t. I just got a couple better picks of her comb. This flat bumpy is the rose and a pea has 3 rows right?

Yeah, pea combs sometimes have three rows. Rose combs are more wide. Cinnamon Queens are typically a Wyandotte-based sex link (making most have rose combs).

Not laying yet, but im thinking she will be any day now. They are about 19 weeks old at this point. Shes friendly enough, leaves my other girls alone for the most part but she looks angry always hahaha

That’s from their gamefowl genetics used in breed development and called a beetle brow! Brahmas have the same skull projection

Even looking mad all the time, she’s very regal and beautiful! Mine is only 8 weeks so still 3 months till laying but I guess she’s a cinnamon queen anyway! Lol. Sorry for kinda hijacking your post.
