I posed photos of these birds when they were younger and now I'm confused as to whether or not I have male or females. I know the black sexlinks are supposed to be female--one acts pretty bossy. The Rhode Island Red is the leader of the pack--very aggressive and the golden laced wyandotte is the most rooster-looking but kind of the passive type. No crowing--not even a hint of a crow yet from any of them.

They are 11 1/2 weeks old. Can you tell me what if they're male or female?

Wyandotte and RIR feet ?

I appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks to you both.

I'm still on the fence about the Wyandotte. He/She has shown the red crest since 4 weeks old, but who knows? I'd sure be happy if all are hens.

All of them are pullets except the Golden-laced Wyandotte. That is without a doubt, definitely a boy. Look how metallic his shoulders are getting. And you can see the green coming in on his tail feathers that also indicates a young rooster. A hen's tail feathers would remain black, without getting the beetle-green color.

I see that color on the Black Sexlink tail feathers too. It's kind of that shiny bluish black purple color. Tell me I'm wrong

I know black sexlinks are pullets without a white dot, but why does one of mine seem so colorful and other one so plain?

Sorry, I'm new to all this, and thanks for your help.
