Sounds like you are giving them lots of lovin'! One bug won't hurt anything as far as needing grit. They will break that down just fine. So waiting til Monday to get grit is not a problem.

and Welcome To BYC! You've gotten some good advice above, sounds like you really care for your babies. If you want you could also put some clumps of grass/dirt in the coop for them, a lot of people do that anyhow as a way to help with coccidia, and it helps with getting them some grit.
