I tried at hatching some of my own eggs. I started out with 23 eggs. I had 2 not fertile, 1 chick died, and I'm pretty sure there are 11. I have a couple of stuff animals in the brooder so they are all trying to snuggle under the animals. I have several pipping.

Hatching mutts are fun because you never know what you will get. Most are black/blue. I have 2 americanas that look blue.
