There’s such a thing as males with hennie feathers (rounded). I think he’s a Cockerel.
Ya but hennie feathering is caused by a gene. And Wyandottes aren't known for it.
In a heterozygous state males usually don't get hennie feathers until their second adult molt.
This bird hasn't even had its first adult molt.
So if hennie feathering was the case it would mean that it got the gene from both parents in a breed that isn't know for it or that it miraculously had both genes spontaneously mutate.
Those odds seem pretty slim.
Although I don't believe its super common there are hens that crow. The odds would be a lot more in favor of that.
But my opinion is still in the favor of the best odds.
Either the husband was mistaken about who crowed or mistaken about what a crow really sounds like.
When in doubt, blame the husband.
