I am planning on combining all my birds together in several days.

I have 14 Campbells, 16+ weeks old that are clearly sexually mature. They are rolling in the hay all day long

I am about to put them on Bl. Sl. breeder pels.

Now, I have 6 scovies at 11+ wks of age, been fully feathered for weeks and I'd say full grown or darn near it (all girls)

It will be well-nigh impossible to combine the flocks in 10 days, yet keep separate feeders for the Campbells and the scovies. They will clearly 'cross-feed'

So do you think 12+ weeks is too young to put my scovies on Bl. Sl. breeder pels?

If I can't without compromising them in some way, I'll just have to keep em separate for another month or something................???

Feed bags give no indication, btw

ty all!

Your experienced advice is much appreciated!!

The Bl. Sl. is my abbreviation for Blue Seal feed. I don't know if you have that in your area. They are a located in NH somewhere--nearby.

NOW, MAY I ASK FURTHER?

I also have 5 roughly nine week old scovies. One drake--who still has down on his head--and four ducks.

One is very nearly fully feathered out. The other four about a week or so younger are now getting their primary and secondary wing feathers in.

I THINK I SHOULD HOLD OFF ON MOVING THEM IN WITH THE OTHERS AND KEEP THEM ON GROWER PELLETS FOR A FEW MORE WEEKS, wouldn't you say?

Duckmonk...yes I would keep them separate and keep them on a grower food until they hit maturity or breeding age...

Purina Flock Raiser is a good food for right up to laying time....then go to layer pellets.
