My power went out temporarily due to wind, so I placed a warm rice bag in the brooder. I came back a few minutes later to a chick (born yesterday) deeply asleep with its feet hanging off the end.

Finally got to watch a chick actually hatch over the course of an hour. He/she spent a good amount of time just watching me.
