Up for this auctions is one dozen Bantam Cochin eggs and mixed Bantam eggs, plus whatever the girls feel like laying before I box them up for shipping. I am being up front and honest, my flock is mixed and I have not had the time nor the space yet to separate out the colors and breeds, but I am hoping that by selling enough of their eggs now, I can save up to do that later.

I CANNOT separate out what the Cochins lay from what the other girls lay, and I wouldn't even try, the eggs all look alike! Here is what I have in my coop right now:

Cochins-

Barred
Blue Splash
Black (frizzle hen only)
White (hen is frizzled)
Black Mottled

1 Mille Fleur d'Uccle hen
1 Black Silkie mixed hen
1 Dark Brahma roo

Bantam BO's

A trio of White Silkies

1 Standard Welsummer mix hen. She's in there because the standards do not like her and tried to kill her, but the Bantams all accepted her. So she lives with them. She breeds mostly with the BO boys, but I think she might with the Black Mottled Cochin roo too. Should make for some interesting chicks!

So far, all I have hatched out are pure Cochins and 1 Cochin/Silkie mix. I have hatched out Barred, Black, Blue, and Splash so far. I'm setting 2 dozen eggs in about 10 minutes, and all but 4 are Bantams. So far, my hatch rate for my Bantams has been 100%. It's been about 97% for my Standards (one chick pipped, but didn't hatch.) Fertility is EGGCELLENT, lol. If you are looking for some great little Bantam Cochins, and you don't mind some mixes, then this is the auction for you. I will collect eggs over the latter part of the weekend and I will ship the Tuesday following auction end. The reason it's Tuesday and not Monday is because I do not have a car to get to the P.O., so I need to arrange for the package to be picked up. Eggs will be wrapped and packaged carefully, but I can't say what the postal system will do once they leave my hands. I will mark the box well so hopefully they won't x-ray it! My birds are sweethearts. I have a mix of hatchery and breeder stock, and my chicks have been hatching out with awesome form and foot feathering. My hens are some of the sweetest birds you will ever meet, and the roos are gentle boys that are good to the ladies and good around people. If you want to see more pics of the parent stock, please go to my website listed at the bottom in my signature. I can take some more pics upon request. If you have questions, my PM box fills up really fast, so you can e-mail me @[email protected]. Good luck and happy bidding!

Just wanted to add that fertility has been so good that I just put 2 dozen Bantam eggs in my bator, and 4 standards. Now the wait begins! Lol!

your birds are really nice looking. I'll have to get ahold of you in a few weeks and get some bantam eggs from you.
