I filled my incubator last night after my hatch this weekend and went to my desk to put the information in my hatching log. Immediately I realized that we would be on vacation the week that they are due.

So I quickly unplugged the incubator and took the eggs out. I collected the last of these eggs yesterday so this will only be a 1 day auction.

Right now I have 4 splash hens and 5 black hens, 3 of which are split to lavender and I rotate the following boys in with them for 24-48 hours at a time: splash cockbird (photo above), black split lav cockbird; and a new black split lav. cockerel that was given to me by a local friend that she hatched from HatTrick eggs. I'll get a photo today and post it...he is gorgeous!! I know that he is breeding the hens

There have been several "partridge" looking chicks hatched from this pen (I just hatched one myself this weekend) and I'm hoping that these are lavenders but I don't know for sure. Just want to be clear that you may get a chick that is lavender or at least chipmunk appearing.

There are a total of 18 eggs to send and I will package them tonight to go out as soon as the auction ends tomorrow morning.

See my packing photos below and thanks for considering our offering!!

These sound really nice.
How long were they in the incubator for before you took them out, and did they get warmed up?
Thanks so much.

They were in for about 10-15 minutes and were put in at room temp. I don't think this would cause a problem, but can't say for sure. You have to decide that for yourself.

I'm not messing around with that penny crap!!
Oh these will be mine, yes they will be mine!! LOL!!!!
