12 day olds chicks

Very excited in our house as we just picked up our 3 new chicks.

Dilly and Sapphire, Speckled Sussex
Charlie a Buff Sussex.

All very cute and fluffy.

Happily eating chick crumb, not so keen on water at mo. Very lively and LOUD. All happy to be handled. Spphire fell asleep with me stroking her nose.

Just wanted to share my excitement!

Congrats on your new chicks! Cute choice in names. Speckled Sussex are one of my favorite breeds/colors, they are just beautiful birds and so friendly, I've never had a Buff Sussex, they look lovely also. Sussex are characters, they are demanding little things and like to be the center of attention. You should have a lot of fun with them.
