I am getting too many eggs and my bator is full so I am putting these up for auction. I just hatched a lot of baby chicks from these parents I am getting lavenders, porcelian, mille fleur, mottle, Blues, and lemon blues, blacks, and white frizzles. all will be slpits. all of these chicks are spilts the parents are all in one pen so what ever hatches will be splits. my hatching rate has been 95% and very healthy. my coop is a closed coop I do not bring in any chicks until they have been checked by my vet. I can ship then when the aution end and they have been paid I will ship on Tues and Wed. Only so please pay ASAP. The auction is for 12 and if I get anymore extra will send them too. But ony if they lay extra. please understand once they leave my home I have no control of hatching or if they get to you okay. as the P.O . does not always take care of the boxes. But I do my very best in packing the eggs.thank you and GOD Bless! here are a few pic of my cochins.

you say they will all be splits.... but what colors are they split to?

Also, what colors are the roosters, and what colors are the hens?

just wondering

You're getting porcelain? How?

Do you have pictures of some grown out chicks?

Thanks

It looks like shes saying that all colors pure and mixed are penned together so there is a % that will be mixed colored chicks and some pure color chicks.... also looks like she has some Lavender roosters so some would be split for lavender..

I dont know this for sure and hopefully OP will clear it up but this is how I understand it????

they are all in one pen and what I have is a porcelain hen and lavender pair also in there so that is what I mean by split I been getting lavender, porcelian, and lemon blues from the pen which is where they are all in together.I hope I said it right so everyone can understand what I am trying to say.

so far I have 17 eggs.

I have a porcelian But I know if you put a lavender to a buff or porcelain you will get porcelians and lavenders and any buff will be split to porcelian.

humm.. When I put a buff hen with my lavender rooser I got black birchen females and dirty columbian males.. No lavenders, no porcelians, no buffs... Hatch maybe 50 and that's all I got?

I dont I get porcelian right now I got 4 lavenders and some blacks and one porcelian. and some lemon blues. I have to take pic of my smaller baby chicks and post them so everyone can see. I do get black but they should be spilts to lavender and the buff should be spilt to porcelian. I do know about lavenders as I bred chocolates and lilac hummies cats and the genic is the same on colors. been see that with my chicks.

Oh Im sorry I didnt mean to imply that you werent getting them I was just stating that I never got anything but the birchen colored pullets and dirty columbian cockerels.. so was just meaning you dont always get Lavender/Porcelian/Buffs from that cross

Do you ever plan to split up your colors into breeding pens?

Porcelains are mottled and to my knowledge are only achieved by breeding mille fleur x lavender and then breeding their offspring. And even then the chance of getting one is 1/512 (or by breeding the offspring of a mf x mottled lavender, then the chance is 1/65 or less).

Do you mean isabel, maybe?
