I've gotten some duck eggs from Beth last summer. The CUTEST ducklings you will ever see!! I hatched out 6-7 ducklings out of the 9 eggs she sent me! AWESOME packer!! Two thumbs up to this 'gal!!

I had to give the ducklings to a friend, as I was not able to keep them, but I did end up keeping one of the ducklings. Beth, do you remember that HUGE duck egg you sent me? Well that one hatched and that is the biggest, most sweetest duckling ever!! I found out a couple of days ago that he is a drake, as I heard him doing the male 'call'. He is such a stinker! I let him loose in the yard and then when I try and catch him back he opens his bill like he is laughing and me and waddles around. It's the cutest thing you ever saw in all your born days!! Tryed to post a picture of him, but I still haven't fully figured out how this new BYC news.

My white crested hen..... I know she is laying for sure. You should get 2 eggs from her, as all eggs will be just 2 days old.

I might contact you this summer. We're right in the middle of building a ton of breeding pens and such so that is why I had to stop swapping because I was being overun with chicks that I didn't have room for. As soon as I have room for more birds I will be swapping again!

I want a buddy for Inky, he is housed with my two white Calls.

Inky looks just like the white and black duck in the picture. However, he doesn't have as much black on him. He is such a cutie! I know he hatched out of a white egg. Any ideas on what breed or mix he is, Beth?

I would guess he is either Pure Magpie or Magpie x Pekin. The Magpies stick together like glue, so I would guess pure.

On the tool bar to reply, there is a little box with a picture on it. If you click that , it will bring up a box to "browse", you click that, find your picture, click your picture and hit submit, picture should load right to your reply.
