meyer chicks came today. 2 days to ship. all drinking and eating. heating pad working well. how soon to add some small grit?

You don't need grit unless you want to give something other than chick feed like eggs, veggies, etc. Just add a few pinches in to their feeder if you decide to supplement with treats.
