My LF project is just now beginning since the black hens have not been laying until now.

I saw the F1's of these birds. First cross already had proper combs, muffs, beards on most.

You should post some f1 pics jean. Quick maturing.

Oh my gosh... I haven't seen him since he was much more immature. He really has filled out! He looks great Jean. I was shocked how good the F1 juvies looked, and they appear to look just as good as they get older! Hard to believe it's an F1 except he's not quite as sleek as your other bantam ameraucanas. Wow!
